NGAYON, TAYO ANG BIDA! At the country’s first-ever virtual auto exhibit, HARI celebrates the collective success brought on by the remarkable courage and determination of the nation's march towards new normal business operations.
As the country shifts gears toward rebuilding the economy, Hyundai Asia Resources, Incorporated (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai trucks and buses, braves the new world order of business with its hard working lineup of commercial vehicles.
Its first order of the day: acknowledge the drive and passion of the true heroes of the Better Normal: the enterprising Filipino.
Hyundai Trucks and Buses Philippines fittingly closes the year and ushers in 2021, the hard working year of the Metal Ox, with an exclusive presentation at MIAS Wired 2020, the Manila International Auto Show, touted as the country’s first-ever virtual auto exhibit. With the theme “Bida Better Normal,” HARI celebrates the collective success brought on by the remarkable courage and determination of the nation's march towards new normal business operations. The virtual auto show platform likewise serves as an innovative way for HARI to showcase its fleet of outstanding commercial vehicles, led by the HD36L Maxculado, COUNTY premium mini bus, H-100 Modern Jeepney Class 1, HD50S Modern Jeepney Class 2, and HD50S Modern Jeepney Class 3. All have and continue to figure in nationwide efforts to modernize public transport and to reinvigorate commerce.
HD36L Maxculado: Your strength for the new normal
It may be a light-duty truck, but it has serious muscle and performance to boost your operations in logistics, e-commerce, cargo, and practically any business that requires a good deal of heaving lifting.
It is built with high-capacity chassis and made even more durable with its new ladder frame that features heavier gauge steel.
The HD36L Maxculado is also equipped with front stabilizer bar that increases front-end rigidity and improves steering stability, while the enhanced front suspension and shock absorber makes for uncompromised protection of vehicle and cargo. Volume capacity also gets a boost with a longer shuttle rear body. The extended wheelbase and longer cargo bed can accommodate an 11-foot rear deck, while its light chassis is giving it a 1.7-ton payload capacity. Complementing the sturdy build is the new, more fuel-efficient 2.5-liter diesel engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission that delivers 53% more torque than its predecessor and makes for a more effortless drive.
The COUNTY for your countless transport business ideas
If you’re looking for a mini-bus that you can count on, look no further. The Hyundai COUNTY is designed for dependable, safe, and comfortable mass transport.
Its body alone is as sturdy and stable as it gets, thanks to greater rust-resistance from Hyundai’s standard seven-dip electrodeposition primer (EDP), or electrostatic immersion process, plus a stringent chassis durability test that ensures that the vehicle is capable of handling a variety of road conditions.
The COUNTY also employs reassuring stopping power, as it is equipped with Load-Sensing Proportioning Valve (LSPV) that adjusts brake pressure according to the weight distribution of passenger load, as well as 9+10 brake booster for even safer braking.
As for comfort and convenience, the COUNTY is full of thoughtful amenities such as a swing-out type door for easy ingress and egress, semi-cloth upholstered seats for firm yet gentle support, deluxe cargo space to stow extra luggage, and nifty overhead shelves for handy storage.
The Power Trio
Hyundai's complete fleet of Modern Jeepneys, the H-100 Modern Jeepney Class 1, HD50S Modern Jeepney Class 2, and HD50S Modern Jeepney Class 3, is fully compliant with the Philippine National Standards (PNS) set for the Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) Modernization Program of the Department of Transportation (DOTr).
The H-100 Modern Jeepney Class 1 and HD50S Modern Jeepney Class 2 received their DOTr Certificates of Compliance (COCs) in 2019, while the HD50S Modern Jeepney Class 3 got its COC in September this year.
These progressive iterations of the beloved Pinoy jeepney represent Hyundai’s commitment to support government and transport cooperatives in advancing the country's mass transport system. All three models come equipped with accessories that fit the changing needs of commuters, and are available in Ligtas Biyahe variants that promote commuter safety in pandemic times with features such as contactless payment, individualized seating, plastic dividers, and provisions for sanitation.
With this power trio, Hyundai Trucks and Buses Philippines is confident that it will continue to serve the needs of major transport groups, and the commuting public at large.
