“First, the 2018 edition of the prestigious Initial Quality Study by J.D. Power has Hyundai among the top three brands. This represents a big jump from our eighth-place ranking in 2017. The Hyundai Tucson also received recognition from J.D. Power as the best performing among Hyundai vehicles in the survey. The annual survey measures the number of mechanical problems and issues that new vehicle owners experience during the first 90 days of ownership.
“Hyundai has also been named the Most Satisfying Popular Brand in AutoPacific’s 2018 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. Hyundai ranked first in this survey of 58,000 new vehicle owners covering 40 criteria. Notably, our Elantra took the top spot in the compact car category.
