Hyundai: Official Mobility Partner of 45th Annual ADB Meet

Manila, April, 25, 2012. Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (HARI), the official mobility partner of the 45th Asian Development Bank Annual Meeting of Board of Governors, officially turned over 50 Hyundai Grand Starex vehicles that will be used to transport 4000 delegates to the upcoming international conference that will be held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) and the SMX Convention Center from May 2 to 5, 2012. Held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza, the turnover ceremony was attended by (from L-R) HARI executives led by Chairman Emeritus Richard L. Lee, HARI Chairman Edward S. Go, and President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo; and representatives of ADB lead agency in the Philippines, the Department of Finance, led by Undersecretary Rosalia de Leon, Undersecretary Gil Beltran, and Assistant Secretary Teresa Habitan.

Fifty units of Hyundai’s legendary Grand Starex, the Filipino family’s all-time favorite, stylish, comfortable and spacious van, shall be used to transport 4,000 international VIPs during the upcoming ADB Annual Meeting of Board of Governors on May 2 to 5, 2012 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) and SMX Convention Center. Sealing the deal at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza were (L-R) HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo and Department of Finance (DOF) Undersecretary Rosalia de Leon.

In the ceremonial toast, Ms. Agudo declared, “We support this administration and the ADB in promoting and strengthening the pillars of public and corporate governance to bring about all-inclusive growth and development for the Philippines and Asia.” While Usec de Leon affirmed, “We thank and are very pleased to be one with Hyundai in this undertaking and are confident that our delegates will travel in safe and comfortable vehicles.”
