Hyundai makes a stunning double win at the 6th Annual C! Awards

 

Certified winner!  HARI Chairman Edward Go (L) receives the Genesis Coupe’s Best Sport Sedan/Coupe of the Year award.  This is the second year that Hyundai’s powerful road bullet dominated this category in C! Awards.

 

Top three automotive company Hyundai Asia Resources, Incorporated (HARI) proved twice victorious by taking outright honors to the triumph of two of its prizewinning automobiles – the Grand Starex and the Genesis Coupe – at the 6th Annual C! Awards, C! Magazine’s most prestigious awarding ceremony for the year.  These awards also secured the Full-size People Carrier category for Hyundai for the third year in a row, and the Sport Sedan/Coupe category for the second year since 2009

.

Only the best of the most outstanding cars in the market were nominated in the 26 different automotive categories, which ranged from the most-efficient multi-purpose vehicles, to the most capable compacts and luxurious sedans. All contenders were personally handpicked by C! Magazine’s certified motoring experts and were subject to several stages of analyses and studies – from the most apparent designs and dimensions, to the finest details such as performance and exquisite features.  All entrants were also scrutinized based on their user-friendly qualities such as safety, price, fuel economy, and drivability.

 

C!:  The verdict

The Grand Starex CRDi VGT GLS passenger van superimposed once again its supremacy in the Full-Size People Carrier category.  During the event, C! Magazine’s discerning editors complimented the features of this volume-seller, which has long been a most favorite pick among the motoring community for its state-of-the-art CRDi VGT diesel engine and voluminous cabin perfect for the often-large Filipino families.

 

And for the second time, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe secured its title as the Best Sport Sedan/Coupe of the Year, besting its counterparts in a very tight battle for horsepower and road superiority.  Indeed, this stunning victory reaffirms that Hyundai can stand head-and-shoulders with other reputable muscle cars, be it a competition for velocity or attractiveness.

 

From securing the top three spot in the automotive industry to winning several car distinctions left and right, indeed, Hyundai is definitely one very dynamic and exciting brand that is on its way to the top of the competition.  And still, the best is yet to come!
