HARI Foundation Drives Health Advocacy of the Philippine College of Hospital Administrators

 

HARI Foundation, Inc. (HFI), the corporate social responsibility arm of Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), strengthened its advocacy to bring quality health care to more Filipinos by donating a Hyundai H-100 van to the Philippine College of Hospital Administrators, Inc. (PCHA) last December 19, 2013 at the Hyundai Headquarters in Makati City.

 

Leading the turnover ceremony were HFI President Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo and PCHA President Elmer Pedregosa. Also present were HFI Chairman Emeritus Richard L. Lee; PCHA Immediate Past President Evangeline P. Morales; and PCHA Incumbent President Ricardo F. Adriano, Jr.

 

The mobility solution for the partnership was underwritten last November 20, 2013 during the 38th Annual Convention of PCHA held at the Century Park Hotel in Manila. Themed “Setting the Stage of Global Healthcare Leaders,” the event was attended by leaders and professionals in the hospital administration industry who share HFI’s advocacy to provide quality healthcare

 

“Hyundai and HARI Foundation believe in the Culture of Caring just as PCHA does. We are more than just a company that simply offers mobility solutions. We are a company that cares to touch and save lives. This is our way of fulfilling our mission to become a lifetime partner of Filipinos in motoring and beyond,” explained Ms. Agudo. “HARI Foundation and PCHA hope that the van will drive further our shared advocacy to build a better and healthier tomorrow for the people we reach out to.”

 

The HARI-PCHA van is a Hyundai H100 model, one of Hyundai's bestselling commercial multi-purpose vehicles. Its versatile cargo deck can accommodate 10 or more passengers and therefore can be configured into an ambulance or a mobile clinic for medical missions to far-flung areas of the country.
